Nate loves chow mein. It’s one of his favorite foods. I’ve always wanted to learn how to make it for him and tonight, I did.
After many searches, I found a recipe that looked good.
This week at the grocery store I bought a bunch of special ingredients like sesame oil, cabbage, and bean sprouts.
I spent an hour tonight (when I REALLY needed to be studying for microbiology) getting it ready.
I dirtied almost every dish in my house. ( no really. every dish. and they are all STILL dirty in the sink. )
Then I tasted my masterpiece.
Nate ended up taking the whole pan of it out to the dumpster.
Then he went to Panda Express and got us some chow mein.
While I stayed home and sulked. And also turned on the fan and lit some candles to get rid of the smell.
Does anyone really know how to make chow mein?
If not – does anyone want a bag full of bean sprouts and a head of Napa cabbage?
