Nate and I inherited this beauty in December. Since then I’ve been trying to learn how to use it.
It’s really hard, and sometimes I get frustrated.
Like when I finally figured out how to use the aperture, but couldn’t get the right subject in focus:
I was trying to get a CLEAR picture of Leroy (my photography class teacher who told me during the last class that he thinks I need to take another one…) and make the back of that guy’s head fuzzy.
I am a little ashamed that my biggest problem right now –
(besides of course my 60 job applications and 0 job offers)
– is not knowing how to use my new really expensive camera.
Which led me to investigate other first world problems. It’s good to see I’m not alone.
I found this one on Pinterest:
I can especially relate to that last one. Happens all. the. time.
Then I typed “first world problems” into Google images.
Here are a handful of favorites:

“without checking to see if we still had COLD milk”)
(this is sad)
(thank goodness for Chrome’s recent history tab!)
What would the pioneers think of us!?
