OK, let’s be honest, I haven’t posted because I knew I couldn’t compete with all the cute babies in their Halloween costumes on other blogs. Bah humbug.
Yesterday was heavenly for Nate. He got to be a total He-man. He spent allllll day listening to football while wiring and sheet-rocking (dibs on coining the word sheet-rocking) a basement with his BFF Brent. Laci and her mom (and dad) were helping too, so it was KIND of she-womanly, but mostly He-man-ish.
I would have helped, but I was far too busy being entertained by these little cuties.
We watched Little Rascals (hence the blog title) and Pollyanna, played hop-scotch, swung on swings, and lots of other stuff that filled the day but I don’t remember.
Unfortunately, eventually the girls had to go to bed. Boooring.
Then I had to help in the basement. I helped hold the sheetrock up to the ceiling while the boys drilled (HEAVY!!) and then I made a sheetrock art time capsule to leave in the wall behind the sheetrock. So artsy.
Then Laci and I watched the boys until we got too bored and cold, and then I watched Laci make chocolate chip cookies until I was full, and then we watched The Prince and Me II, which was awesome because I’ve really been wanting to see it. No really, I have.
