(Calvin’s room is the one right under “ital” of “Hospital” – it’s the one with the blinds up.)
All of the rooms in this amazing NICU are private and amazing, but some are even more amazing than others.
We were recently upgraded to an even more amazing room.
A room with even more space, a bathroom, a bed, and a view!
So now we can stop doing this every night:
And do this instead:
Even though it’s an amazing room, the bed (which is actually a couch) isn’t SUPER comfortable.
Luckily I bought Nate a memory foam mattress topper for Christmas and had it shipped to the hospital.
(It was Nate’s only present, and the best I could do while laying in a coma and stuck in the hospital.)
It turned out to be the best present ever about three months later:
Voila! Memory foam NICU couch bed!
And since it’s folded in half, we have 4 inches of cloud to sleep on.
Now we just need to do something about the food….
(Our dinner of onion rings, frozen yogurt, refrigerated yogurt, and packaged blueberry muffin.)
(Dinner of champions.)
