I was so excited this Christmas because I thought I had THE perfect present for Nate. You see, this summer we had this craving to do a puzzle. But, tragically, we didn’t have one.
SOOO for Christmas, I bought Nate not one but TWO really high quality 1000-piece puzzles.
We broke one out the other day and attempted it – here was our conversation:
Nate (after about 10 minutes): “This will probably be more fun once we finish turning all the pieces over…”
Cami (after 15 minutes): “Sooo….how long until you think we can use our kitchen table again?
Nate: Maybe like a week?”
Cami (after 20 minutes): “Puzzles are kind of boring.”
aaaand…that was the end of it. This is as far as we got….
We tried to keep as many of the connected pieces still connected so the next time we try to put it together it’s a little more fun. When might we break it out again, you ask?
Well, in Nate’s words..
“Maybe, like, 3 or 4 more years?”
In conclusion, we are NOT puzzle people.
